Exciting News for the 2008 Season

Dear Friends of Blenheim EquiSports:
Welcome to 2008! Thank you for joining us during 2007. We look forward to hosting you during our upcoming shows, including some new additions to the schedule. We are working diligently to exceed your expectations as we plan another exciting and challenging year of competitions.
We jump into summer with five weeks of exciting back-to-back show jumping at Oaks Blenheim in beautiful San Juan Capistrano. Blenheim EquiSports has expanded this show series by adding the Oaks Blenheim July Theme show (July 2-6, 2008). The Oaks Blenheim June/July series will feature a total of five Grand Prix events and just under $400,000 of prize money overall.
The Oaks Blenheim/Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park is proud to be one of the host sites for the the 2008 Dressage Festival of Champions Olympic Selection Trials presented by Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF. This event will be held concurrently with the Oaks Blenheim June Classic III & Oaks Blenheim Red, White & Blue Classic shows on two consecutive weekends; June 21-22 and June 27-29, 2008. You won’t have to fly all the way to China to see our nation’s best Dressage athletes and their horses compete for the ultimate dream of representing the USA at the 2008 Olympics Games! We will continue to provide you with the Blenheim EquiSports season calendar in our premium books. We hope this is a tool you find useful to help you plan your year. Once again, our horse shows are divided into three categories. Tournaments will offer grand prix events of $50,000 or more in prize money and “AA” rated hunters. Classics will offer grand prix events with prize money between $25,000 and $35,000 and “AA” rated hunters. Festivals will feature jumper classics and “A” rated hunters. As a reminder, this calendar reads Monday to Sunday.
